OJSC Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works is one of the oldest plants in the South-East of Ukraine. It's a metallurgical Works with the full technological cycle of production. OJSC Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works exports its products to more than 60 countries of the world. Rolled steel plates and pig iron are in particular demand on the international market. The products manufactured by Alchevsk Works are widely used in shipbuilding, atomic and chemical machine building industries, for production of locomotives, tractors, gas pipe-lines, mining supports, etc. The products of Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works are constantly exhibited at the international fairs and exhibitions in Germany, China, England and other countries.
