The index reflects the continuous financially settled naphtha futures contract (CIF NWE) and serves as the primary benchmark for petrochemical feedstock pricing worldwide. In August 2026 the maximum reached 761.83 USD/ton, the minimum stood at 668.77 USD/ton, averaging 731.88 USD/ton. The index is compiled from a rolling series of cash-settled futures.
